Job Title: Operations Specialist

Summary: The Operations Specialist is responsible for the management of workflow throughout all departments within the Company. The purpose of this position is to optimize daily activities and performance of the business across the board. This role requires a deep understanding of financial technologies, data stores, digital marketing, client relationship management systems, and other proprietary technology built or bought by the Company. This candidate must show an innate ability to collaborate, communicate best practices, and continuously identify opportunities for operational enhancements across all departments. The role is heavily data driven with a focus on removing data silos and integrating the firm’s data stores and applications that support each business unit more efficiently. A thorough understanding of data analysis is essential for developing enhancements and quantifying performance. The individual should excel at identifying patterns and solutions for improved processes and profitability.


  • Support department heads in all of the Company’s operations, creating efficient systems that maximize stakeholder value
  • Serve as main point of contact for Company back-office services for clients, including advisors and investors
  • Onboard and maintain advisory relationships and sub-advised client accounts
  • Provide back-office support for on-boarding and maintaining selling agreements through maintaining close relationships with fund administrators and custodians
  • Participate and contribute to the strategic plan for the firm’s operational needs across all departments
  • Support the Director of Technology and Data in overseeing the deployment and management of critical business unit technologies and software
  • Support executives in overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Company’s policies and procedures
  • Support the Director of Technology and Data in developing and managing data and technology initiatives to drive value to the firm
  • Support the Director of Technology and Data in directing and managing information technology and information security across the Company
  • Support the Finance and Compliance departments with vendor management program
  • Support the Director of Technology and Data in directing the infrastructure and support of the Company’s employees and advisor partners


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering, or Economics or equivalent accredited training with at least two years of relevant experience and knowledge of:

  • RIA operations and management
  • Financial markets, custodial relations, fund relations, model management, trade operations, financial technology, compliance, contracts, distribution, and IT management
  • TAMPs (e.g., Envestnet, AssetMark)
  • Technologies: Python, SQL, Hubspot, APIs, Microsoft Office Suite, and Orion are desirable


FINRA Series 65 or ability to obtain within 90 days

  • Creates tangible and measurable performance metrics that drive the Company’s strategic vision to fruition

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary of $45,000 to $75,000
